HI, I’m Daisy

I’ve been practicing and teaching Alexander Technique for over 20 years.

After qualifying to teach in London in 2004, I built a private practice working with performers of all kinds and worked in secondary schools teaching AT to young musicians and athletes.

In addition to AT I have studied extensively with exceptional movement educators such as Frank Bach (Conscious Movement), Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (Body Mind Centering)and Alicia Fajardo at Fajardo Method Movement (Holistic Biomechanics). All these approaches inform my work.

I also work as an actor and enjoy sharing this work with fellow actors.

I am based in Florence, Italy and Petrolia, California and teach both online and in person.

PS. This is the Fremontia (Fremontodendron - otherwise known as a flannel bush or ‘California Glory’) that lives in my in my garden. It was pushed over in a storm. But still the following spring it bloomed and continued to flourish, even while its trunk was horizontal to the ground. I admire Fremontia’s adaptability. It’s not always easy to adapt to our environment and to our own internal pressures and conflicts. The principles of Alexander Technique and other sources of embodiment wisdom help us to tend towards opening and awareness, blooming and flourishing.
